We just wrapped up a wonderful 3 day weekend spent with both sides of the family.
Robin’s sister and brother-in-law, Crystal and Tommy (and their dogs Smallz and Max), traveled to Tulsa on Friday night to spend the weekend with us. We had an awesome time with them hanging out and catching up! Crystal is expecting their first baby (Baby Zane) in September so this will most likely be their last trip to Tulsa before the baby comes.
Robin’s parents joined us on Sunday afternoon and stayed through Monday. It was a quick trip for them, but I know Emma really loved seeing them (and Robin and I did too!)
Here are a few pictures from our weekend.
Here is Emma sitting in one of our guest dogs’ beds. She had so much fun playing with Smallz and Max (I’m bummed that I didn’t get a picture of them together):
Emma playing in the bounce house at Incredible Pizza:
Tommy playing the boxing game at Incredible Pizza- he worked up a sweat, burning over 400 calories! Maybe I should have played this game too!:
Emma really thought she wanted to ride the choo-choo train, but quickly changed her mind after the ride began. (don’t worry- I rescued her quickly after taking this picture!):
Everyone “pitching in” to help Emma get some points:
Emma loves playing with Uncle Tommy:
Gigi and Pops brought Emma a new book, “Green Eggs and Ham”- this was one of my favorites when I was little!:
Emma just chillin’ at Hunter Park while we ate lunch:
Walking to the pond to feed the ducks with Aunt Crystal and Gigi:
Pops trying to convince Emma to come slide:
(it didn’t work!)
Emma and Aunt Judy playing on the teeter-totter:
Emma eating a yummy popsicle from the ice cream truck:
Emma with two of her favorite people, Nana and Gigi:
The three Amigos after 18 holes of Disc Golf:
Brandon, Robin, and Tommy:
Emma was very tuckered out after a long day at the park- she was falling asleep in her daddy’s lap- this was our cue to pack up and go home for naps!:
Thanks to all of our family members who traveled to come see us this weekend- we had a great time and we hope you did too!
Thanks also to Aunt Judy and Uncle Ron for a yummy lunch today- we had a great time being with everyone.
Looks like you guys had a great weekend!
We got the same response from Karter when we went to IP and she “thought” she wanted to ride the train… I think I have a very similar pic of her. :)
We had fun Jill, thanks for posting up the pictures. If you think of any more projects you need done, we’ll try and come out and help.
