I also wanted to post these two graphs below (because I’m a nerdy nurse who loves charts and graphs!)   There is a great website called “My Birthcare” where you can keep track of your kids’ weight and height.  Foster is in blue, Emma is in pink.  She started off pretty big but quickly slowed down and is now very petite.  I have a feeling Foster is going to be a chunky monkey… just another difference between siblings. :)

After a very yummy lunch, Robin took us on a tour of the vicinity of his NEW JOB!!!

I haven’t blogged much lately because we’ve been super busy making big decisions… After working for an awesome company for the past TEN YEARS, Robin has accepted a new job with a local start-up company called Doc Via.

This will be a huge change for our family.  Robin has been working out of the home ever since we moved to Tulsa so having Robin at home is all Emma knows as a “normal life!”  While there will be some major adjustments to get used to, I look towards the future with much optimism.  Robin is very excited about his new job and I know that his passion for his work will carry him far.  Robin is currently in Dallas wrapping up his 10 years with Dell/Perot Systems and will begin his new job next Monday, March 8th. 

We’ve been very busy buying new clothes for Robin because he has been working out of pajamas for the last 7 years… not really, but kind of! 

Please pray for our family as we embark on this new journey!

We’ll miss you at home from 8-5 Robin but we’re excited for you too.  Thanks for all you do for our family.

We had a wonderful 1st Valentine’s Day as a family of FOUR!  Emma and Daddy went to church this morning while Mommy and Foster stayed at home and held down the fort.  I haven’t been feeling great the last couple of days so I decided to try to rest and recover.  My first day back at work in the NICU was Friday evening from 3pm-11pm and it kind of wore me out!  

This afternoon we just hung out and took some pictures (see below.)  Tonight we were so blessed to have my mom, “Nana”, and my aunt, “Aunt Judy” come babysit our two kiddos so that we could go on a date for Valentine’s Day.  We went to McGill’s and had a wonderful dinner (courtesy of my Uncle Ron and his girlfriend Christi who gave us a gift card for Christmas!)  Steak, garlic mashed potatoes, and yummy chocolate dessert- now THAT is the way to my HEART!!! :)  Robin and I had a great time celebrating our 11th Valentine’s Day together.  He is such a wonderful husband and father and I feel so lucky to be his wife.

Yesterday I had an outfit on him that I thought was pretty cute so I decided to take a couple of pictures because I’m afraid he is already outgrowing it.  The outfit was corduroy puppy overalls with cargo pant pockets and a pocket on his left sleeve… and daddy thought it would be funny to put little items in his pocket.  Like babies really NEED pockets???
